Galiano Flow

Galiano Island is one of the many Islands located off of the Coast of British Columbia in Canada. It has sandstone beaches, easy to walk on, lots of grip, great for exploring the many tidepools in the area that brim with life.
The tide coming in swirls and gurgles through the valleys and depressions in the sandstone, I liked the contrast between the apparently 'frozen' waves of the sandstone and the water action, and attempted to capture that flow and synergy in this painting.
